How Much Are Points Worth?
According to this document this card earns CURewards points. These can be cashed out at 1¢ per point, but they also have a travel redemption option. Last time we covered CURewards it was because the travel redemption option was improved and you could get 1.32¢ per point. I’m not sure how up to date that is though.
Our Verdict
This is definitely an interesting card. At worst it seems to be 2% cash back with no annual fee, no foreign transaction fee and a nice sign up bonus. If the travel information is still accurate then it becomes up to 2.64% back when redeeming for travel.
Hat tip to reader Aaron P
Does this really still have Price Protection and Return Protection?
The site says 20,000 point bonus, not 25,000
The other 5K comes from spending 2.5K to get the bonus.
I guess. I wouldn’t really call that part of it a bonus, though
Updated, thanks
