Delta Airlines is following United & American Airlines and has announced the removal of change fees. This change has been announced affect immediately for travel within the domestic U.S., Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands in Delta’s First Class, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin (excludes basic economy). At this stage it’s unclear if this will apply to award tickets or not.

Even with all these positive changes, I’d argue that the U.S. airline in-flight experience is still the worst in the world. It’ll take more than just some fee waivers to change that.
