Our Verdict
Previous best deal has been 42,000 + a possible $100. This is an extra $100 (or $200 as not everybody even got the $100) and the spend requirement is the same. There’s also an increased offer on the personal card of 65,000 miles. Bank of America business cards do not report to your personal credit report, this is useful for those staying under 5/24 for Chase. This will be added to the best credit card bonuses page.

What are eligible Alaska Airline purchases needed to get the $200 statement credit? BOA reps can’t answer the question other than flights and lounge purchases. I’m wondering about buying miles. It appears they have added this clause to the requirement for a statement credit.
called to close card after holding for 1 year and AF posted. rep said that miles earned will expire within 90 days of closing the account relationship. I asked her for clarification, if the miles in my Alaska account will expire upon account closure and she said yes. I have never had this issue in the past with Alaska and BoA. Is this new or is the account rep giving me bad info?
The rep started to tell me the same thing, then said something along the lines of “well this is Alaska so you don’t really have to worry about that.” I think they are mostly referring to cards where they house the points.
Bank of America’s customer service sucks including when you have to call them because they’ve identified potential fraud. Over several days month or so ago, I sat on hold for 10-20 minutes each time at various times of the day (hanging up several times because I had better things to do) trying to get through to their fraud department. Needless to say, I cancelled the card.

What should I do? is the new 24months BofA Alaska also affecting the Alaska biz card? can I open it again while having it if I received the bonus already around Feb2021 for my card open Dec 2020? or do I have to close it to inmediatly reapply? my AF just posted Dec1st n they told me over the phone there r not retention offers but they might become available early January, my payment date is Jan6th for the 50+25=75usd fee on this card, should I call lets say Jan3rd to ask if there r retention offers n if not to close the account?
Approved for AS Biz with SP five months ago. Too risky to apply for another after so little time has passed? More generally what’s a reasonable amount of time for spacing out BoA biz card apps?
Maybe 1 BoA biz card app total (inc AS, Cash, etc.) per > 3 mos? 1 per 6 mos? Alternate EIN and SSN?
Denied. so when you get offered the CD is that right when you applied or days after?
