The Offer
- Wesbanco is offering bonuses of up to $350, must use promo code $350 New Checking 2020. Bonuses are broken down as follows:
- Get a $250 bonus when you open a Basic Checking or Interest Checking account and make direct deposits totaling $2,000 or more within 90 days
- Get an extra $100 when you enroll in online banking within 90 days of account opening
The Fine Print
- Customers with a current checking account, or who transfer funds from an existing WesBanco deposit account, are not eligible for the bonuses.
- All qualifying activity must occur and post to the account within 90 days of the date of account opening.
- Please allow up to seven business days after 90-day period for bonus credit.
- Direct deposit bonus: Make direct deospits totaling at least $2,000
- Online banking bonus: Enroll in online banking at wesbanco.com
- Bonuses may not be used in combination with other offers, are subject to change without notice and limited to one per account.
- Customers that have received an online banking enrollment bonus on any previous Wesbanco checking account are not eligible for the online banking enrollment portion of this offer
- Customers that have received a direct deposit bonus on any previous WesBanco checking account are not eligible for the direct deposit portion of this offer
- You must complete the direct deposit portion to be eligible for the bonus for online banking
- No bonus will be paid if the account is in overdraft at the time the bonus is to be credit
- Businesses and employees are not eligible for bonuses
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Monthly Fees
Their basic checking account has a $6 monthly service charge, this is waived if you receive eStatements or maintain a monthly balance of $500.
Early Account Termination Fee
There is a $25 fee if the account is closed within 90 days.
Our Verdict
Previous best bonus was $250, this is an extra $100 and the requirements are basically the same. This can be opened online this time as well making it even better. We will add this to our best bank bonus page.
