Our Verdict
The online offer is just basically a shopping portal; compare rates here. The store offer is a nice little bonus, but again, the terms exclude gift cards.
If you are new to Dosh, my thanks if you use my signup code CHUCKS2 during signup – you’ll get some small bonus (either $1 or $5, not sure which it is right now) when downloading the app and linking a card.

The OD offer was gone after my account was unsuspended. Before that, the 2% offer was there but I did not purchase anything at OD as I was not sure if my account will get unlocked and will have access to the balance.
I don’t see it in Dosh anymore
this is old news. sorry to say.
The .com seems to have tracked on Dosh 2x with a linked card even though I purchased through Chase. Who knows, they might try to claw it back when they realize. I didn’t even know it was on dosh when I made the purchase. (Chase has only credited the first in-store pickup order, but not the bigger online-only purchase (made with a promo code, but one on their site, if I recall correctly))
They shut down your account if you buy giftcards.
Over $1.5k in lifetime cashback so far, if I get shutdown at this point, that’s cool.

What happens if you already transferred the money out via ACH? Do they pull the money out of your bank account? Hard to imagine they can but who knows.
Per my knowledge, no merchant or business can take 💰 out of your bank account without you initiate it. So, no worry.

Yeah, Doc, this has been going on a while. And, for me, gift cards haven’t been excluded. Although last I checked was about a month ago. Got $20 so far from Amazon gc purchases in store.

Like I said in the other comment, I just saw it now, searched the site and didn’t see it on the site, so I posted. It might have been around for a while.
I just checked my Dosh balance. Nothing got clawed back. I only spend about $500 per month on Amazon gcs. But even if dosh kills this, I was really just trying to get the 5x from Chase Ink. I found out about Dosh a couple months ago accidentally.
I usually go to staples for my Amazon gcs, but they’ve been sold out every time I visit.
This has been going on since July. What makes it new today?
I’m guessing since Dosh shut down gift card cash back by requiring a portal and its still not the case for OD/OM.
