The Offer
- Buy three $25 Staples e-gift cards from Paypal Digital on eBay for $65. Limit one offer per person.
The Fine Print
- “Limited quantity available” (I don’t believe this will sell out fast as there appears to be over 10,000 available, but I’ve been wrong in the past…)
- May take up to 24 hours for delivery.
Our Verdict
This is a great deal for use at Staples itself. It could also be useful for reselling if you have a way of reselling e-gift cards. Remember, that Ebates and Fatwallet are still offering 4% cashback on gift cards, and you’ll get 2% back in eBay Bucks, and you should be able to get 5x by paying with INKÂ at Paypal Digital.
If you can resell it to Saveya for 87%, that would mean getting $65.25for 87%, that would mean getting $65.25, or just about a break-even. If we calculate 5% from INK and 2% from Bucks and 4% from Ebates, you’d end up with $7-8 profit.

Hitting a brickwall on reselling this. Would you be kind to let us know who will accept these eGC?
Staples E-GC is big no no for Saveya or Giftcards.com
They want Plastic cards only, will never accept even at reduce rate as per my talk with their Senior Business Analyst.
Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind. I wonder why.
didn’t get 5% bakc with ink last time.
Was it a purchase from Paypal Digital Gifts on eBay or Giftcardmall on eBay or SVMGiftCards on eBay?
Why, is there a difference?
Yup, https://www.doctorofcredit.com/gift-cards-on-ebay-5x-and-cash-advance-take-2-2/
Via Saveya upon entering the 3, $25 codes:
“These gift cards require the plastic cards to be shipped to us before payment. A shipping label will be provided after confirmation”
Err…
Interesting, I do recall Reader KP telling me that some cards need to be physically sent in, even those which are typically purchased electronically by resellers. Maybe Staples if from that group.
Thanks for pointing out.
looks to be already sold out
Yup, seems they’re teasing us, putting it up, taking it down, putting it back up, etc.
What’s the verdict on using Staples GCs to buy 3rd party GCs? Seems like some say yes, others no.
Online it won’t work. In-store YMMV. Tough with an e-gc.
Is there a limit?
Yes, one offer per person, meaning one $10 discount.
This one has been around for at least a week (was live before the Sears etc. deal last Thursday went live). If PayPal wasn’t screwing me right now it would definitely be worthwhile.
