Chase Offers might also be showing up for 10% off with the Dollar and Thrifty brands. If you happen to have this version, it specifically cannot be used Hertz (unfortunately). No minimums (thankfully). One-time use. Up to $44 in cash back.

Has anyone else noticed that the credit for using an Amex offer is taking longer to post? I used the BPme offer and the charge posted to my account on February 4 but the credit still hasn’t posted to my account.

Yeah there’s a wide known system-wide delay. My Feb 1st got posted Feb 12th. I wouldn’t worry about it, it’ll come eventually

We’ve seen a lot of these credit card rebates for car rentals lately which is nice because they give you an additional discount after you find the best deal. That said, I’ve been renting a lot of cars recently and I still haven’t used one of the credit card offers. You need the stars to align: the best deal has to be with the car rental agency that’s offering the rebate, the time period and (sometimes) minimum amount has to be right, and the offer has to be available for booking direct (and not with a 3rd party supplier). In a half dozen car rentals the last few months, this hasn’t worked for me, so it may not work for you.

I was targeted for 5% back up to $28 on my CSP, and also 5% for Dollar/Thrifty up to $30 back. not too bad because I will use CSP for car rentals anyway
