Rewards Network has a number of different dining programs where you get rewards for dining at participating restaurants. Most of their partners are travel partners such as Delta, Marriott, Southwest, United, etc. They also have an iDine program which gives 5-10% cashback at participating restaurants. That program has now been renamed to be called Neighborhood Nosh.

Can you stack this with the airline rewards network?
No. Each card can only be in one RN program.
“We felt that iDine no longer accurately reflected our core mission and brand personality…” So they went with Neighborhood Nosh, thinking somehow this is an improvement? A cash back program doesn’t need personality, just collect your commission, pay me my cash back with no drama or issues, and we are all good.
This makes me long for the “good old days” (10+ years ago) when the standard offer with iDine at every restaurant every day was 10 miles per $, not merely as a limited 30-day promo. Some restaurants even offered 20/$, plus occasional bonuses. Then, around the time it changed to “Rewards Network,” 5 miles/$ was the best case scenario…and only if you has 12 transactions per year and only if you sign up for emails, otherwise it drops to 3 or even 1. In the late 90s and early 2000s, I extensively relied on the iDine lineup in making dining decisions, but now I don’t give it any thought. If I happen to eat at a restaurant that’s part of the program, fine, but I don’t go out of my way.
restaurants grew tired of paying for their existing customers.
Already 5-days are lost for this deal, just saying: “Effective 3/4/21, for a limited time up to 4/4/21”
