Has anyone use this $29 Amex offer if so, how? $99 annual fee in $70 still doesn’t make any sense.
I got an email from Hilton Honors with an offer for 10K Hilton points for signing up for an Instacart Express Annual Membership. Should be able to stack with this offer. Offer ends July 15th
Of course I don’t have it on my Amex! My Amex only offers me offers for things that I’ll never do.
This stacks nicely with the offer to spend $250 cumulatively to get $50 back twice (also targeted).
I use Instacart on and off and they often offer me discounts like $20 off $35+ twice and $50 off $100+ twice (limited to walmart, big lots, bed bath & beyond). There are also occasional offers like free Express membership for 2 months, which I was targeted both for MasterCard and Apple Pay.
Found the offer on my personal Plat, not on my personal Gold.

Found it on my Plat.
My instacart membership will be expired in July, so it’s good timing to use the offer for another 3 months for free.
aren’t the items marked up on Instacart? Will it be any different with a membership?
Prices are 10-20% markup IME. No difference in price member or not member. Definitely pay for the convenience.
Walmart as of now has no markup. Costco does.
Didn’t know. Walmart isn’t part of my instacart stores.
No difference on base price but you save on the 10% service fees. Price markup differs depending on store. Bestbuy seems to add a flat $5 for each item, so in this case higher price items have less % increase.
