Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
They offer a free checking account with no monthly fees to worry about.
Early Account Termination Fee
I didn’t see any mention of an early account termination fee in the fee schedule.
Our Verdict
There is a hard pull, but that is less of an issue with how restrictive credit card issuers are now. This is significantly better than the $150 bonus offered in the past. I do think this is worth doing if you don’t care about hard pulls and will add it to the best bank account bonuses.

Applied with Chex and TransUnion unfrozen.
I called after a couple of days to check the status of the application.
They told me I need to unfreeze Experian.
I guess you can’t reroute the hard pull anymore.
Awww. That’s not nice. Maybe yours was a glitch and someone else can try? It’s been working fine for years.
I called them, spoke to the representative, she spoke to her manager and that’s what they said.
Oh, I believe you that it happened… but just hoping it was a temp glitch. Like some banks will have issues with credit card account funding for a day, and then it suddenly comes back. Possible whatever interface they use to pull credit reports was malfunctioning and you’re an unlucky victim…
I have a question for you.
I just got my Chex report and under the inquiry from PSECU it says the following:
Public record information on file at Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions was utilized for this inquiry. Should you wish to request your file disclosure from Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions you may contact them at.
Some other inquiries have this too while some don’t.
What does that paragraph mean?
Newer entries have Lexis Nexis, or some mention Transunion. Dan
It essentially means they are using LN & TU to validate your ID and match that to Chex.
It was discussed over here when it started being reported on Chex: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/you-can-now-receive-your-chexsystems-report-online/#comment-1953452

Personal
I’m going to try it now and see what happens
Did you get cash back for the cash app deposits? I haven’t the last two months so I am doubtful about the $100 part
so you have to get cash back for it to count? maybe amazon reloader works.
I do not see any Early termination fees so after getting the bonus, Can we close the membership in two to three days?
Sure, if you want. It would be better to stick around for at least a little bit longer to not make it so obvious, but you do you.
Does it matter which “Share” the direct deposit is into? I submitted enough to each weekly the Checking Share and the Regular Share, but it doesn’t seem totally clear to me.
Direct Deposit should always go to the Checking Share. C
That said, if you use the Member Account Number from the main menu, it will automatically go to the checking account.
Awesome, thank you, appreciate the prompt reply
