Chase is offering a bonus of 65,000 points on all three Southwest personal cards after spending $2,000.

Offer valid through July 14th.

Annual fees are not waived the first year
The Premier personal card earn a 6,000 points anniversary bonus; the Plus earns 3,000 points anniversary bonus; the Priority earns 7,500 anniversary bonus

Our Verdict

We saw a recent offer of 80,000 points, but this one has a better spend-to-earn ratio and some might prefer it. The referral offers are not yet showing this new deal, though that might change in the coming days/weeks.

Companion pass now requires 125,000 points in a calendar year to earn; this year you’ll only need 100,000 points due to pandemic reduction from Southwest. You can one of the personal cards with 65,000 and get a business card with 80,000 points to meet the Companion Pass threshold. We’ll add these to the best credit card bonus page.

Does the referral for 65k points work even though the referral offer says it expired on 7/14/21?

Referrals do not work but they did a few days after they expired. If it takes you to the landing page you’ll get the bonus. Now is a great time to sign up using a referral if you want either business card as referrals are now worth 20k instead of 10k.

Are any referrals available for 65,000 miles, or just 40,000 like when I used to have this card? I missed out on the latest offer so would appreciate a referral link for 65,000. (No replies yet from emails to sent to addresses listed before my comment.)
