The Offer
No direct link, check Amex Offers on your American Express business cards
- Get 10% back as a statement credit by using your enrolled Business Card on eligible purchases online at dell.com/amex or by calling 877-780-9860. Limit of $1,500 in total statement credits. See terms for exclusions.
Our Verdict
This stacks with the $200 in Business Platinum credits. Amex won’t let you double-take on this as they’ve clawed back the double-take in the past, so be sure to spend $222 so that there’s $200 charge left and you can hopefully get the full $100 credit. There are also two other AmEx offers that should stack:
- [Targeted] AmEx Offer: Dell, Spend $599+ & Receive $120 Statement Credit
- AmEx Offers: Dell, Spend $1,000 & Get $150 Statement Credit
Update History:
- Update 9/26/22: Deal is back until 3/26/23. Some people are seeing a 20% offer
- Update 2/2/22: Deal is back and valid until 08/01/2022.
- Update 1/2/22: TheJohnWickening reports seeing this offer back again. There’s also $200 off $800 still available through 1/15/22.
Has anyone seen this offer on a brand new card? I’ve had a BBP since 1/3 (signed up to try to get the bank account bonus and still don’t have approval for the bank account) and I haven’t put any spend at all on it. If I could get this offer I’d like to buy a laptop and knock out a big chunk of the SUB. Would calling or sending a SM work to try to get the offer added to my card?
I think I’ve purchased enough Dell products for a lifetime. I’m now considering reselling. Does anyone have any suggestions for products that resell really well?
probably there new qd-oled from alienware
10% off on Business Platinum, spending $200 get $40 back on EveryDay and Personal Platinum. Nothing on Business Gold.
What are y’all buying from Dell? Anything good?
I use Microsoft Office, so picking up a year of that for free ain’t bad. Also bought a nice Timbuk2 backpack, some Hue light bulbs, and a cheapie semi-portable Epson projector. You know, stuff. You can pay with up to three cards, too, so you can hit up to $600.
I usually buy Bose stuff (noise-canceling headphones, TV soundbar) but also picked up a pretty sweet Audio Technica turntable recently.
Seems that the 20% doesn’t show on biz plat cards. Multiple DPs.
My Biz Plat got nothing. Personal Plat got two smaller offers. BBP got the big one. Longer too.
Seen it mostly on blue for biz and biz gold.
No. On two of my personal cards too.
I had the 10 % version on my biz plat. Used it a few days ago. The 10% off credit appeared in 2 days. Still waiting for my $200 biz plat credit.
Any idea on how long the 20% off takes to post on Amex? Had a $1400 charge post on 10/18, still waiting for the credit!
Same here. it has been a week and still hasn’t posted. In the fine print it says 90 days after the offer ends (3/23) lol. I hope that is not the case.
Have you seen it posted yet? In the past, I got an email notification that the offer was applied almost immediately. I purchased an Alienware monitor, but have not seen any email yet that the offer was applied.
Takes a couple of weeks. To my two accounts.
Usually takes about a week or so from after the transaction posts, at least in my experience
Have to wait for the statement or it will appear as a credit once approved? It has been a week but didn’t get the credit yet
nice just had to double check here to see if it’s legit. Got 20%. Time to splurge on that wifi 6e router.
I just got the Netgear ORBI RBK852 mesh with one satellite. $700 but I had three platinum cards to use the credits. Best mesh 6e you can get. Check to see if Best Buy price is lower for price match.
Along with the GAME10 code and cash back portals, I can create a lot of spend buying and reselling xbox gift cards toward meeting a biz plat SUB. However, what’s the limit? Has anyone here bought tens or even a hundred $100 xbox gift cards at Dell toward a SUB without getting in trouble with amex?
Dell will eventually ban you card, IP and address from all orders
“Eventually” shut down? It’s a real hassle to even buy 1 GC
Looking to get shut down?
The offer I have says I need to go to dell.com/smallbusiness
Is this a different set of products? or the same as dell.com
The last time I used this offer, which was around November, they didn’t enforce going through Dell.com/amex. Any purchase from Dell worked.
