Our Verdict

Pretty nice bundle deal with no cost layout other than the $5 deposit into the new Stash account. A lot of people might have done Stash or Savvy offers in the past and won’t be eligible.

Also note, it’s possible doing the Savvy insurance quote will result in some spam; consider using a backup email address and Google Voice number, etc. Opening a new investment app might also mean an additional tax form to deal with at tax time.

Be careful with Savvy! I’m banned from swagbucks, mypoints, & Upromise for signing up once in each portal using the same geico account for each one. Screwed up on that one. Lost a few hundred bucks because of that mistake.

I haven’t done these combined bonuses so I’m not sure how they track or how easy to get these rewarded

Please be aware that the Stash $5 bonus is really only $2. You have to sign up for a plan, the cheapest being the $1 plan. You’ll get the $5 promo almost immediately but you can’t withdraw it for 90 days. Meaning you have to pay for 3 more cycles (or $3) beyond the first free month until it is able to be withdrawn. You can reduce this “pain” by signing up for Stash stock parties. Like once every 1-2 weeks you’ll get an alert by text that a “party” is available to like the first few thousand users who are quick. The “party” is essentially a giveaway of a blue chip stock in the amount of 20-30 cents. I made back all $3 doing the stock parties and immediately selling the stock after it settled in my account. It’s not much but it adds up quick. I’ve received stock for apple, Microsoft, best buy, bed bath and beyond, trip advisor, etc.

As long as they reward me with 7500SB, I’m fine with $0 bonus lol

I hear ya brother. I got the 7500 pending almost immediately after the deposit was made. Deposited 30 days later. Did it for myself and my wife. $150, done and done.. plus 10% for referring my wife to swagbucks. I just recently cancelled both accounts after 90 days. I made the withdrawal of the $5 then immediately cancelled my plan. The $5 showed up in my bank a few days later.

Stash makes it very very challenging to find the cancellation option as well as the withdrawal option. Annoying as hell.

How do you sign up for stock parties? Thank you.
