Chase has launched a new IHG business card called ‘IHG® Rewards Premier Business Credit Card’.
The Offer
- Chase IHG Rewards Premier Business Credit Card is offering 140,000 points after $3,000 in purchases within the first three months
Card Details
- $99 annual fee
- This new cardmember bonus offer is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of this business credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of this business credit card who received a new cardmember bonus for this business credit card within the last 24 months.
- Card earns at the following rates:
- 10x on IHG purchases
- 5x on gas stations, dining, social media and search engine advertising and office supply store purchases
- 3x on all other purchases
- Automatic IHG Platinum status, earn Diamond Elite with $40,000 in spend
- $50 United TravelBank cash each calendar year. Must register card in your United account
- TSA PreCheck/Global Entry Credit
- Spending bonus of 10,000 points + $100 statement credit after spending $20,000 within a calendar year. Additional free night after $60,000 in spend
- Redeem three nights, get one night free
Our Verdict
The nice thing about this card is that it doesn’t count towards your 5/24 status as it’s a Chase business card. The sign up bonus is OK, although we have seen as high as 150k + $50 + annual fee waived on the personal card so I suspect we will see larger offers on this card as well. Because of that I won’t be adding this to our list of the best credit card bonuses for now.
How long does it take points to post? I reached the 140,000 points last week but its been almost 10 days and the IHG account hasn’t reflected the points after statement close (even though it says they’re linked to the chase card)
All IHG cards disappeared from Chase.com. Trying to apply today for the business version.

Has anyone who already received the bonus on personal IHG card ALSO received their bonus on this business one?
I met minimum spend on the business card last cycle (ended 4 days ago), got my spending points deposited, but the bonus hasn’t shown up yet…
I’m in the same boat. I made sure it only said if you have had this card before, but it now looks like they changed the language “If you currently have an IHG Rewards Credit Card from Chase, or you earned a new cardmember bonus on that credit card within the last 24 months, you are not eligible to receive another of the same credit card.”

How much the hotels per night? Is there a way we can see what the rates are?
What kind of question are you asking? The rates are different for each hotel. You can see the rates by looking for a reservation.
I have the personal IHG card and received the bonus a few months ago. Am I eligible to get the bonus in this card? The terms on the personal card and the business card are a bit confusing. Now sure which one is correct.
Yes, you qualify for the business card bonus, but now for only one personal card bonus.
Hey, has anyone figured out how to get that travelbank offer to work? I have the premier and nothing happens when I click through- tried 5 different browsers on a couple devices
I’m in same situation, I emailed them and I’m waiting for reply. It has something to do with the names not matching on your ihg account vs united account.

Is the 3x points for all purchases also applicable to their consumer Premier card now?
I think you forgot to mention the flexible free anniversary night this card issues each year. Worth up to 40,000 points and can be topped off with other IHG points the cardholder might have in order to use at more expensive properties.
I’ll be getting the card for this reason alone, although I will be timing it to coincide with my Premier anniversary, so that all my free nights nicely line up (i.e. renew/expire) at the same time.
This appears to begin on 1st anniversary. Not when you signup. still makes this worth a permenant spot.
Correct, on first anniversary. Still worth lining up your anniversary dates if you have multiple IHG cards. I find it makes it much easier to use the free nights together.
