Our Verdict
This is the first transfer bonus for Virgin Atlantic we’ve seen from Chase. I’d only recommend transferring if you have a short to medium term use of the miles to avoid any devaluation. You can view more Chase transfer bonuses by clicking here.
FYI that this was available earlier (I saw the first week of May) and while it says 30% bonus it only gave me 25% more points. Transferred 56k UR on May 9 and received 14k extra.
I think it is an extension. Probably still 25% until 5/15 which was the original announced transfer bonus and deadline last month. Then 30% from 5/16 to 6/15
How long did it take for that bonus to show up? I just did a transfer, while the initial points showed up instantaneously , the bonus still has not shown up, it has been ~20mins.
I only checked 2 hours later and everything was there.
