- Offer discount will be allocated proportionally among all promotional items in your original order. If any of the items in your original order are subsequently returned, your refund will equal the original price of the product, less the proportional amount of the discount. The total discount on the unreturned amount of your original order will then be less than $10.
- Offer is not available to anyone who removed and re-added card after 1/7/2024.

Our Verdict
Better than the $10 future credit deal that we often see. We’ll add this to our Amazon savings guide; there you can find a full list of live Amazon payment card deals, along with direct links to activate each one.
Note that the terms say “You will not be eligible for this offer if you previously claimed the 2022 or 2023 Set As Default or Add a Card offer.”
I removed my Discover card & added it back, and this offer page tells me “it looks like you previously claimed this offer and are not eligible with your current Discover Card”, so they seem to enforce it.
Did anyone successfully stack 24DISCOQ4 with this threads “Set Discover Card as default payment method and get $15 Amazon promotional credit “?
Must $15 be spent on the disc card or can some be put on an amazon gc?

No, I bought a non-gc item, with Subscribe & Save. Side note: when I start a S&S order, even when I pay with GC, the Subscribe & Save Deliveries page shows the payment won’t use gift card balance, so I manually change it (I’m not sure if that means future deliveries after the first, or including the first delivery).
That’s interesting that the promo works on S&S items.
BTW, what you described is what has happened on S&S items for a long time. I have no way to prove this but I feel that it is an intentional glitch that Amazon did.
IME, once you manually change it to use your gc balance, that item will stay that way and not revert to a credit card in future deliveries. However, I always check each S&S item before the order finalizes to be safe. I suggest that you do the same.
Does anyone know if Citi still does any $ off deals with Amazon after adding a card? Or did they stop that completely?

Discount definitely not working towards an order with only gift cards this time. Successfully applied $15 discount for an order with physical items ship and sold by Amazon today.
Did not work for me either. Added an Ulta physical gc, Apple physical gc, and Giftcards.com One4All eGiftcard to my cart and none would activate the $15 off. Removed all of those and added an Amazon Echo and the $15 off discount applied when I went to the final checkout page (easiest way to test one of these credit card offers requiring items to be shipped & sold by Amazon.com)
Looks like this does not work to buy Gift cards (non-amazon) unlike the other use points offer.
