Anyone got the bonus posted for the recent ‘Earn a $10 statement credit and Points when you shop online’ ?
Do I need to spend the required amount in one transaction or can I make multiple transactions totaling above the required spending amount?
I got this deal on my Elan Max Cash Preferred Card for spend 600 get 20. Already hit that requirement for the promotional period, buy my email doesn’t specify any category such as online spend.
sucks to be me. have to spend $800 to get $20
credits in the past have taken a long time to post but seem to come through. i got a $20 for $600 online spend by I think end of september. their definition of online is probably similar to sears – I bet its just any CNP. i might just swtich my utility billing to this and see if that triggers it.
Can you clarify what you mean? Just using it for any website where card not present would work?
got $10 back on $100 spend for Fidelity.
I completed a previous deal back in April, spend $250, get $25 credit on Fidelity visa. I bought gc on slide and raise, and that counted as online shopping. Got my credit in July.
For this month, I got $20 for $600 online shopping offer.
Was it spend $250, get $25 credit for online shopping specifically? Trying to figure out if raise.com counts as online.
Yes. Online shopping $250, get $25 credit
Do you remember what they coded as? It looks like giftcards.com, which coded as “Stored Value Card/Purchase/Load”, did not work for the last one (but also showed as manual entry rather than online/mail/phone)
Actually I forgot to mention that I used paypal with fidelity visa as my preferred payment. That coded as online, mail, phone purchase method, misc general merchandise category, PayPal digital payment.
$25 statement credit for $1200 spend by September 30
The difficulty with the “online” is figuring out what counts. There’s a “Purchase Method” shown on the transaction, but I’ve found many of my online purchases show “Manually Entered” rather than “Online, Mail or Phone”. I didn’t qualify the last time this offer came around, but did the previous time, and was trying to figure it out from that, but still didn’t reach a clear conclusion.
As a DP my Walmart app order that qualified for the last “online shopping” bonus also says manually entered. I’m thinking it has more to do with the MCC + it will be either manually entered or online/mail/phone but NOT the third option, which is chip reader. Obviously anything that says chip reader was in person and not online. But who knows.
My email gave no details about what counted as online. My utilities normally auto charge to the Fido card. I will wait and see if that works and I will not care too much if it does not.
There’s always a catch with this card. I totally agree. I’ve missed out on bonuses even when using Walmart.com. It was sometimes loaded as manual or telephone purchase. Also, the one where you pay your telephone bill for a $10 bonus but the catch was you need to also register the card as automatic payment.
I got a spend $100, get $10 on my Fidelity Visa. Planning to just load my Amazon balance I guess to make it easy.
