Their FAQ says that if you spend $30+ on qualifying products, you receive a printout of a code for 1k points that you can redeem. That extra 1k points will allow you to redeem for the $10 Google Play credit. Other things include food items.

Yes, once you claim points there is an option to redeem points -> to fuel points and others

I redeemed for the 500 fuel points, still waiting for them to be posted to my account.
The 500 fuel points show up in the “My Coupons” tab in your account. It gets redeemed when you make the next purchase. Deadline is Jan 3, 2023.
