Sam’s Club has launched something called ‘Bonus Offers‘. This is a card linked program that lets you earn rewards for purchases with specific merchants. Bonus offers uses some offers Rewards Network and these offers don’t stack (e.g if a card is enrolled in Rewards Network) and Bonus Offers you’ll only earn with the original card linked program) and also has some of their own offers.
Rates look competitive if not better than some of these other card linked programs. In addition Sam’s Club Plus Members earn an additional 20% cash back (e.g if it’s listed at 10% they will earn 12%). Keep in mind that this earns Sam’s Cash that can be redeemed for cash back in store or used for Sam’s Club purchases online or in store.
DP for anyone who might want to know and comes here looking for it:
The Petco 2.75% Sam’s Cash Bonus Offer did not track for an online Petco.com order. Says should work in-store and online. But that was not the case.
Other DPs from my records:
The Petco 2.75% Sam’s Cash Bonus Offer also did not track for an in-store Petco purchase. Bummer.
I’m a Sam’s member but I never heard of this. Why do I have to find out about stuff like this from The Doc instead of from Sam? 🙂
Check your email. Sam’s sent out an email on it a couple weeks back (Meet Bonus Offers. Your new ticket to Sam’s Cash).
20% back or 2%?
20% more of the original percentage. So using the post’s example, if it is 10% and you spend $100, you get $10 plus $2 (20%) more as a Plus member.
Sam’s Club Plus 18% + Swagbucks 2,100 SBs + AMEX 50 off 99 annual + weekly YouGov Safe = 27 dollar profit with the HBO Max.
Also some local restaurant deals that stack. Haven’t tried it yet but there’s a pho spot in my neighborhood.. 4% Amex + 5% Rakuten dining + 6% Sam’s CB. Not sure if it will all convey- I feel guilty trying it lol since it’s a small mom and pop shop.
you think merchants foot 100% of the bill for all these types of cashback offers?
There’s an HBO Max 15% featured offer… stack with the $50 off $99 amex offer and 2100SB.
Phil you finally pushed me over the edge. was holding off on getting HBO max as only interested in House of Dragons, but at this price cant resist. \
total price $105 + $11 tax = 116 – 50 amex offer – 16 Rakuten – 18 sams offer = 32 annually or $2.67/ month
Booger. I decided to pull the trigger on HBO Max with the $50 Amex and SB yesterday.
Fino 🙂
