- Sunwest Credit Union of Arizona is offering a CD rate of 5.12% for one year. Valid October 3, 2022 – January 31, 2023 at all Sunwest branches.
No limit mentioned on how much you can deposit, though there is a $250,000 limit on NCUA insurance.
Our Verdict
This is around 1% higher than the best CD rates out there, but again, this requires a branch opening and probably will only work for Arizona residents.

Looks like this offer is dead.
Tough to lock up funds for a full year at the rate interest rates are increasing. 5% is likely going to be normal HYS rates soon.
