Our Verdict
This offer is showing on the Amex Connect site which allows you to add this offer to any third-party American Express card. It might show (now or in the future) in the regular Amex login under Amex Offers. If anyone sees it there let us know. You can not add the offer to your regular Amex card from Amex Connect so it’ll only work if it’s found in the Amex login.

Bad experience with amex: signed up using wells Fargo amex. Chose restaurants within shop small network. Made 3 purchases. Only one credit rcvd. Called wells who asked me to contact amex. Amex dept that handles amex offers claims they can’t see my credit card in their system. They kicked me to wells. I said I signed up the offer at amex website. Then the conversation shifted to denying my card being eligible for the offer. Amex rep continued for 15 min arguing the offer is not applicable to my card. It is ridiculous!
I’m 2 for 5 places on 7 transactions. There used to be a toll free number for a special department at amex that takes care of non amex issued card offers but I can’t find it. maybe someone else can find it. It was posted around 5 years or so ago.
DPs on registering & receiving credits for qualifying dining purchases on more than one 3rd party AmEx card? The T&C is kind of vague, and I received emails for all five purchases on one card but nothing so far on first purchase on a 2nd card.
I know from personal experience that past shop small offers have worked on multiple cards but just wondering if something has changed.
False alarm, I finally got the email on card number two. Local lunch spot has a reloadable online GC so I’m stocking up $20 at a time.
I just used my Navy Federal Amex at a local restaurant. A minute after paying, I received an email that said I had just redeemed my Amex offer for Shop Small Dining.
Does Fluz work like last time?
I got it on my MACY’S card, had a $50 dinner with a friend – split the bill into two and used the card for both. Got $20 off total. 3 x left to go!
Note that you’re not strictly limited to small businesses on the map/in the Amex directory. I successfully used this offer a week ago at my local coffee shop, which is weirdly missing from the Amex resources.
Has anyone received any notification emails? I made a few purchases but so far no notification email
Amex notifications are hit or miss IME. I usually just check under the savings tab a day or two after the charge posts.
Ya I know what you mean but sometimes I feel safer with the notifications.
I wonder if bakery would be considered dining.
I see Jolibee and Blaze Pizza. Surprised they would be considered local
Good luck to anyone who can get it. Downgraded from the Delta Gold Amex to the Blue. Offers just aren’t the same as they used to be.
“Based on the Card Number you’ve entered, you can enroll in this offer and other personalized offers by logging into your American Express Account.”
“Sorry about that! The offer you selected is not available for this Card.”

Third-party is like the wells fargo issued card, not an amex-issued cobrand like DL
