Our Verdict
Previously they offered a targeted $100 checking bonus. This bonus should be worth doing for people that haven’t done the bigger bonuses available.

new offer. Is this meaning that I can get $800 in total by combination?
Open an additional account and get up to $400.
Current deposit clients can receive up to $400 with offer code 24SN:
OOS?
oos denied in 2022.
YMMV
Noticed they had online chat now so chatted to close. Told to zero out accounts first so did that and chatted again. Rep put in request to close once pending transactions clear.
We were new to the game last year and my wife got approved and I got denied. This bank is highly Chex sensitive.
Based on the comments here, sounds like this bank has a high risk of being more pain than it is worth.
I don’t know, people like to complain, sometimes for good reasons, but I had no problem completing both the personal and business bonus requirements, and am just waiting to do them again.
Make sure to stop paper statements or they will charge a monthly fee
BANNER bank is the worst. They shut down my checking account without any warning and sent a check to an old address that I hadn’t updated through the bank website. Scumbags.

Watch out for all the hidden fees. Was hit with a $2 ACH fee on two accounts last month.
Beware this shady bank tries to retroactively change the terms and reneg on its account opening bonus. Even though I opened under the 60 day requirement, they are telling me I have to maintain for 90 days. I had to CFPB them.
Banner Bank is the absolute worst. They will deny your bonus for any and no reason.
The worst.
These deals… with interest rates what they are, zero point. Extra $200 versus a basic HYSA but if you’ve got $26k to park for a few months, you’re likely at $130 after taxes. And then the time/effort to manage the setup/transfer/transfer/close. Basically losing money. But here I am typing on the internet
are you expecting to receive a new car for opening an account?
Yes preferably a Tesla
It’s not an incentive if just leaving your money where it is gets you the same return. That’s the point. With yields where they are, most of these savings promos no longer make sense.
