We’ve been reporting a lot on the Raise promo which offered $10 for each gift card sold on their site when going through the Topcashback portal. The offer was initially slated to conclude at the end of July but got extended through August 31.
Unfortunately, the $10 offer was not extended and the cashback rate now reverted to the old rate of $1.50 per gift card listing. This rate is only offered on cards with a face value of $20 or more.
The terms now make it sound as if the $1.50 is only eligible for gift cards under $50. This obviously doesn’t make any sense and it must be that it hasn’t yet been updated.
I tested it out yesterday morning (9/1/15 at 9:30 am) by listing a $50 Starbucks gift card for the sale price of $50 and the regular $1.50 is showing as pending in my Topcashback account.
Talking about TopCashback; anyone else having problems accessing their account today? I know my password is not the problem, but I get a “Oops, login has failed. Please try again” error message.
I am also getting same error.
Same as well.
Either one of two things is happening right now — TCB is canceling everyone’s accounts so they can keep thousands of dollars worth of payouts from Raise. Or they are doing the $1.50 to $10 uplifts right now, which is probably a massive database operation, and they have temporarily shut people out while they are doing it. Or both. LOL!
LOL! Thanks for the perspective!!!
Cool, thanks for checking. I wanted to make sure they hadn’t blocked me for some reason after requesting a payment. Hopefully, it gets resolved soon.
I got the same problem today.. can’t login but I am sure my pwd is right
cool.. its working now and all my raise sell cashbacks are lifted to $10 but i was scared for a while when it throws login error..
It’s a beautiful sight, isn’t it? Sigh… 🙂
Nice! in as well and same result – raise was uplifted. I guess Bryan was right after all (thankfully not about a massive cancellation of accounts)
