Update 2/1/23: Benefits are now showing up. It offers 4 free lounge visits per year. (ht Marv)
Original Post 12/8/22:
U.S. Bank is adding new benefits to the Altitude Connect card, existing cardholders are receiving the following on their statement:
Effective 2/2/23, new travel protection and convenience benefits will be added to your Altitude Connect Card. Benefits include: Complimentary Priority Pass Select Membership. Trip Cancellation/Interruption and Trip Delay. To view the Guide to Benefits and learn more about these benefits, visit usbank.com/AltitudeConnectBenefits. If you do not have online access call the number on the back of your card for benefit terms & conditions.
Priority Pass membership probably doesn’t include any free visits, so will likely be useless for most people.

William Charles Chuck The Priority Pass Membership includes four visits annually for free. Last week, I used $28 at a restaurant in Denver and used the Club in Cincinnati. Not sure why the 50k points for $2k spend on the Altitude Connect is not on the best credit card sign up bonuses page. The card is also basically an annual moneymaker with the streaming credit and the Priority Pass…
Does anyone know where to sign up for altitude “business” priority passes benefit? I can’t find a link similar to the personal version of the card. Thanks.
Did you find out? Business version gives 4 visits, but can’t find link to sign up anywhere. Priority pass app signup doesn’t recognize my card.
Use this link for business version.

AF for P2 posted 2/1. Has called 2x this week and both CSRs advised they do not have any cards available for switch. Only option is to close the card. Anyone else run into this?
I had this car up until 8/2022 when I downgraded to altitude go. Am I able to pc back to the connect?
This is a nice feature, even with just four visits per year. Bank of America should add it to their Premium Rewards card. Unfortunately, my first year is coming up next month, and I’m not planning to keep the card because I have an almost negative 30,000 point balance due to a large refund from a cancelled cruise. I assume they won’t waive the fee for a second year, will they? And if I convert the card to a Cash+, will the negative rewards balance follow me or be wiped out? I’m thinking that I’ll start over at zero.
We’re actually flying home from Buenos Aires at the end of February and were planning to visit the lounge. I have the CSR and was going to only be able to take one person in addition to my wife (since the limit is 2 guests). Now I’ll be able to take two people plus my wife, assuming that I use up all my visits from this card, which I may as well do if I’m planning to cancel the membership the following month.
Downside is that it will probably make PP lounges even MORE difficult to get into.
With most PCs US Bank will convert your existing rewards to statement credit at whatever that card gets, so if you have 1k points on a Connect, the Cash+ will get a +$10 balance.
Altitude Connect AF $95 Trip delay is 12 hours $300 max.
Altitude Reserve AF $400(effective $75) Trip delay is 6 hours $500 max.
If you need to claim on U.S. Bank’s eclaimsline.com website, you MUST submit a Delay Verification Form *issued by the airline*. This is a statement that certifies the specific cause for flight’s delay so you can file a claim for reimbursement. Get this before you leave the airport. Also it’s a good idea to get the rep to write the specific reason the flight was delayed on that form.
Would this PP include restaurants?
Yes
How would one activate the priority pass select membership if you have this card?
I went to the PPS site, and it asks for a “membership number” or “payment card number”. Where do I locate those?
