• Highmark Federal Credit Union is offering a bonus of up to $500 when you complete the following requirements:
  • Enroll as a Member, and Open A Qualified Savings Account by 2/28/2023. Use the code word GETPAID in order to participate. 
  • Deposit at least $1,000 in your new Savings Account by 3/31/2023.
  •  Save those funds. Keep the money in your account through 5/15/2023 and Highmark will reward you.
  • Get Paid a Cash Bonus (1.00% up to $500 max) by 5/31/2023.

Kasasa checking doesn’t qualifying for this bonus (that account earns 4% APY) but the Kasasa savings account does qualify and that earns 1.5% on balances up to $25,000 when you complete the following requirements:

• At least 12 debit card purchases
• At least 1 direct deposit, ACH credit, or ACH payment transaction
• Be enrolled in and agree to receive e-statements

For this bonus you need to keep the funds in the account for at least a month and a half, but probably more like two months. That works out to be an annualized return of 6% plus up to another 1.5% from the account itself. Might be worth doing for some people but it is a lot of juggling of accounts.
