The Bilt Rewards credit card sent out a targeted spend offer for June 14 through August 13, 2023 to earn 5x points in one of the following categories:
- Amazon.com
- Select food delivery services: : DoorDash, Grubhub, UberEats, Caviar, and Seamless.
- Phone and internet bills
The bonus is for 4x bonus points on top of the regular 1x earn. It is capped at 5,000 points which corresponds to $1,250 in net purchases.
The Fine Print
- This promotional offer is valid beginning the day the email is sent to you, and ending on 60 calendar days after that start date.
- You will earn 5 rewards points (1 base plus 4 bonus) for every $1 spent on net purchases (purchases minus returns / credits) subject to the Bilt Rewards Program Terms and Conditions.
- The maximum amount of bonus rewards points you can earn under this promotion is 5,000 (which corresponds to $1,250 in net purchases), regardless of the value of your purchase or how many transactions you make during the promotional period.
- You must make at least 5 transactions in a statement period using your Bilt Mastercard to earn points, including bonus rewards points for this promotional offer.
- It may take up to 7 days for bonus rewards points earned through this offer to post to your account.
Our Verdict
Nice spend categories here for valuable Bilt points, just keep in mind the $1,250 spend max. Seems like some people got targeted for only one of the above categories and some people got for all (and maybe some people were not targeted at all for this offer?).

Who recently applied for their debit card? Hard pull? Three of them? I just called them, and the rep said it will be hard pull, most likely all three credit bureaus? I asked him again, because i don’t believe what he said, he said again, he said he is sure hard pull, and most likely three bureaus…

After 3 emails all I got 5x on streaming, pretty useless for me. Interestingly the app does not show even that. Oh well
No targeted email for me, no 5x for the first 5 days either when I first signed up, no soup for me.
The T&C make no mention of what happens on Rent Day. Is it still 1X+4X=5X points, (1X*2)+4X=6X points, or (1X+4X)*2=10X points? Is there precedent for how promotional bonus points are treated?
E-mail said 5x on Amazon and food delivery, but my app only says food delivery. Go figure! After’s Bilt’s sweepstake’s a few days ago fiasco I am not trusting either and won’t be putting any extra spend in either category.
If you are looking in the “Earn more points” section, did you try horizontally scrolling to see the additional items?

I got food delivery and phone/Internet. I already get 10% off phone/Internet by using autopay through my checking account, so I guess it’s just food delivery. Not so exciting.
I got e-mail for food delivery and Amazon. Does appear in the app and lists an end date of August 14. One daughter got food delivery plus phone/Internet. Another got food delivery only.
Got another email from Bilt shortly after the promo email

No email to me.
Btw.. It’s also showing up in the BILT App for me. Only the food delivery not Amazon though. I had only received email for food delivery.
