The Fine Print
- This is a limited-time promotion. Customers will receive a discount of $15 off when they (1) add an eligible American Express Card to their Amazon wallet; (2) add a minimum of $15.01 in eligible products to their Amazon cart; (3) apply the promotional code at checkout; and (4) use their eligible American Express Card at checkout. The promotion will expire upon Customer’s use of the promotional code. The promotion will end on the earlier of (a) 5:05 PM PT on 12/31/2023, or (b) the time at which 33,333 eligible customers have redeemed the offer.
- Offer is not available to anyone who removed and re added an eligible Card after 11/13/2023.
- Offer is available by invitation only, is non-transferable, is not redeemable for cash, and may not be resold.
- Eligible cards for offer include American Express credit and charge cards.
- Customers enrolled in Shop with Points may use Membership Rewards® points at checkout.
- Offer only applies to products shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if “fulfilled by Amazon.com” or “Prime Eligible”
Our Verdict
Another easy win. I was targeted on one of my three Amazon accounts. Presumably only targeted to those who don’t have an AmEx card in their Amazon login. There’s a similar offer for Citi (direct link) and for Discover (direct link).

It used to work to buy eGCs like Uber or Lyft, but it doesn’t work anymore for GCs. It does for products.
I tried today for pizza hut gc and also tractor supply gift card and Domino’s gc. I came here to post it didn’t work (and I did get the popup that i am eligible), and i see you already reported it. I added some regular products, and that does work. Sigh. Pizza hut has bogo pizza right now and i was going to buy a $10 off gift card. Im so sad that this is dead. Im assuming it is the same outcome on the citi and discover $10/$15 off offers as well, although I haven’t been able to test that yet.

Discount was working this weekend with Hilton card but now that I am about to use it it’s no longer working
