Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
Totally green checking account has no monthly fees to worry about.
Early Account Termination Fee
I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so unsure if there is any early account termination fee or not.
Our Verdict
There was a $250 bonus last year. Because of that probably better to just wait to see if a bigger bonus returns.

Upon review of your application, the following was noted:
* Unable To Verify Credit References
For the reasons stated above, the credit union can not extend these services to you at this time
Most likely a Chex denial, buttered up with reference bs. Past DPs say this credit union is chex sensitive.
Anyone had success with this bank?
Yes. I opened last year during their $250 grand opening of their Auburn Hills branch online. The bonus never posted. Took multiple phone calls (“oh it should post by next week…”) and it never posted. Finally I just went in person and they manually approved the bonus and wrote me a check for $250.
Do you have a referral code you want to share (we both get $25)?
