[Expired] AmEx Offers: Peacock Streaming, Spend $5.99 & Get $5.99 Back (3 Months Free Premium + Small Moneymaker)

Deal has ended, view more Peacock deals by clicking here.

The Offer

Check your AmEx Offers for the following deal:

  • Get $5.99 back as a one-time monthly statement credit, for up to 3 months, by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend $5.99+ in one or more purchases during the offer period. Valid online at peacocktv.com. Your ability to redeem will reset on a monthly basis until 1/31/2024.
  • There’s also another offer for a $20 statement credit on an annual subscription purchase of $59.99 or more.

The Fine Print

  • Once you add the offer to your eligible Card, you must spend a minimum of $5.99+ in one or more qualifying purchases by the last day of each calendar month to be considered qualifying for a one-time statement credit.
  • You may receive the one-time statement credit, up to 3 times (for up to 3 months of monthly minimum spend) during the offer period. Your ability to redeem will reset on the first day of each calendar month and end on the last day of the same calendar month until 1/31/2024.
  • Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member per monthly spend and 3 statement credits per Card Member per offer period (total of $17.97). A “qualifying purchase” means one or more purchases made in a calendar month with your enrolled Card on or before 1/31/2024 totaling at least $5.99+.
  • Offer valid online only via peacocktv.com. In order to qualify, you must subscribe to Peacock online at peacocktv.com and pay Peacock directly with your eligible Card. If you do not already have a Peacock account, in order for your transaction to be eligible, you must visit peacocktv.com and create a Peacock account, select the “Peacock Premium” plan and enter your eligible American Express Card payment information.
  • Excludes subscriptions bundled with cable services and bundles and promotional offers through third parties.
  • Valid only on purchases made in US dollars.

Our Verdict

Peacock premium is $5.99/mo, and this deal gets you 3 free months. Or it gets you half off the $11.99 for Premium Plus which is ad free. Be sure to cancel after 3 months if you don’t want to continue. I don’t know much about Peacock, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

Go through a shopping portal to sweeten the deal and make this a few dollar moneymaker.

Best cash back offers to pair this deal with:
Rakuten: $2.50
Capital One Shopping: $2.50
JoinHoney: says $2-$5 back. Not sure what final number it is exactly.
MyPoints: $1.78 equivalent
Swagbucks: $1.50

My $.50/month deal (after 2x $3 back with Chase Offers) is about to come to an end. Might need to look into this to keep my Premier League fix going.

Did this via RebatesMe back in May 2023, filed for missing cashabck claim, there’s no order number in the subscription email or online account login. Rejected with “Please copy and paste the order details on the merchant page. Including order number, date, amount, booking detail.”

Anyone used this and got email from Amex? I enrolled first and paid using amex card few hours after enrolling. Didn’t get any email from amex though. Hopefully it’s not a bad sign :/

Enrolling in this deal will likely prevent you from taking advantage of a Black Friday deal for Peacock. I’m currently paying $1.05/month, including taxes, for Peacock Premium on a year-long Black Friday 2022 deal, so give it some thought before snapping up a three-month deal.

can’t you just make a new account with a new email?

Enrolling in this deal won’t do anything but add it to your card

I also had an offer for $20 off for a year

I thought about that but I have on 2 cards so if a deal comes along later I can use the other card with a new email address.

Frey How did you get it on 2 cards? Doesn’t Amex allow to enroll only on one card?

You could use CardPointers. It’s a browser extension (paid) that adds offers across cards at once. I’ve enjoyed it.

Have the same $1/month deal from last year – was a great one, and stacked with shopping portals and card offers to almost be a money maker for the year!

I don’t remember if the terms were new accounts only, assuming it is this AMEX offer could be a good way to get a few more free months on the same account while waiting for potential new offers from Peacock to come along.

Of all the streaming apps I have used I keep coming back to using Peacock, not just because it was free but even when I paid OOP. Their ads are least intrusive and not even as long as hulu or paramount+. A lot of ads are generally about other programs or upcoming series/movies. And their original content, besides the main content, is actually pretty good. On top of that many movies come to the platform either on theatrical release or after couple of months.

In summary, love peacocktv!
