I just got an offer for $1000 online spend gets you $100 statement credit. Anyone have any updates on Costco online? WIll it count as online?
It should. It has in the past. This card is always YMMV though.
I used Costco.com for last month’s offer without issue.
anyone know if buying from Homedepot.com counts towards Home improvement and online? (Bought a dishwasher online)
I used it to fulfill my 800 spend, 10% back home improvement and 100 statement credit, 1k spend.
Was just checking if there was any datapoints for it counting towards both categories at the same time or if i have to plug one.
Anyone know if giftcards purchased at Kroger’s online work for online spending?
Worked for me with ralphs.com so probably should for kroger.com
Did it also count for grocery spend?
When you click on gift cards at Ralphs, it redirects to kroger.com for gift cards, so I’m confused by your comment.
Feb/March was targeted for 325k with $1k spend. That’s a no brainer. In March made a purchase at a gas station website for $500 in gift cards. Coded as “Direct Marketing” which wasn’t supposed to be allowed and they still showed up…
April was $100 statement credit for $1k…meh I did it still. Hope they give me another 325k offer.
This was my first time getting the “Get $100 statement credit for spending $1000”, the previous times were get points. I have no clue when the statement credit is supposed to post, but it didn’t post on the monthly statement that had the online transaction ….OR ACI Payments for fed taxes no longer counts as online. Hopefully the credit posts.
Follow up: Statement Credit showed up today, but with a date of 4/21. Original purchase has a date of 4/17.
Nice DP that the Federal Tax payment counted as Online.
Statement credits are always dated to the start of the statement cycle that they arrive in no matter what day they actually post. So your statement cycle must begin on the ~20th. So fyi if you happen to achieve another statement credit and for example it posts to your account on May 5, it’s going to be dated as April 21. So if you’re expecting any statement credits, always scroll down in your transactions like to the earliest ones for that cycle.
Getting the credit 4 days later is pretty fast as far as the credits for this card go. The GGR credit is usually a whole cycle later when it finally appears.
My most recent statement is dated 4/20, but my current statement has transactions dated from 4/19 and 4/20 (with a post date of 4/21) with the statement credit showing date of 4/21. I’m assuming the Month of April $100 off $1k GGR will show up on 5/21, then.
No it will should show up in the current statement back-dated as 4/21. That’s what I mean about needing to scroll down to see that it hit. It could arrive on May 5 for example when you’ve had ~15 days of transactions since the start of the statement but it will be down at the bottom of your recent transactions list dated 4/21.
So the credit is likely to show up before this statement closes?
FWIW – my next statement closed and I still don’t have any sort of credit for the April GGR.
Weird. I only saw the credit for online spend.. it appears I miscalculated GGR but I didn’t think I did. 😔
Were you going for 50 or 100? I go by the SYW site to see what gives 3/5. I’ve been surprised at some merchants I think should be grocery/dining and are not. I also go a little above the number just in case.
The $100 off $1k offer. Everything was coded as restaurant or gas on the citi site. I wish I had one of the lower offers. I’m only at like $600 for May, I don’t think I’d get to 1k for May without manufactured spending, but last month I didn’t do MS.
I’ve got the 50/500 100/1000 GGR for the year so I wasn’t sure. I still have to MS it each month to hit it. When you activated it, was it during April? I wonder if some purchases came before activation. That’s all I can think of. Otherwise, you can always reach out to them.
Mine is 100/1000 and 200/2000. I had some that say fast food restaurant instead of eating place restaurant. I wonder if those didn’t count.
Edit: Logging into SYW, all of my points earned from April and May were gas or restaurant except the estimated taxes + fee. SO bizarre.
I do find SYW more reliable. If your May statement cut and feel you’ve done 1k+ in GGR, then contacting them would be your best option.
The activation was on April 1 for the full year. Just called them. They claimed that it takes up to two billing cycles “for points to post” and said I should wait for the next statement.
That’s an annoying non answer from them. I hope it comes through for you.
Yeah, now the question is do I do the 10% online spend or do I take my chances that they’ll offer me something better next month. 😀
Tough call. I did this months online spend but I hadn’t seen one for awhile and I had a $900 purchase being made already.
What day of the month is your statement closing date? I also haven’t received my April GGR and have looked back through all May and April activity.
May 21 and April 20 for me.
Mine is the 26th. Auto payment comes out on the 17th and my GGR credit usually posts around the auto payment date with a posting date of the 26th.
I finally got my first GGR credit ($200 for $2000 spend) listed May 21 and for the period of May 1-31. I activated on April 1 (for the rest of the year) and completed $2000 spend for that month and for May but no credit posted for April. I guess I will reach out to them to see if my $200 April credit is still pending?
I usually get the credit for the previous moth several weeks after the end of the month and it’s backdated to the beginning of the statement period.
So, I have a $100 credit that says for 5/1 -5/31 backdated to 5/22. As far I can tell, they haven’t done diddly for my April spend.
You’re sure the credit on May 21 is for May? That’s *should be* your April credit. May’s will come in the next week or so.
It showed up yesterday/today with a date of 5/21. It specifically says “Statement Credit 05/01/25 – 05/31/25” It’s extra confusing if it’s supposed to be for April.
Oh gosh, sorry my mind just completely blanked. I was thinking May was the current month and April was last month.
Yes the one that showed up now in mid June would be for your May GGR offer which makes sense for the dates shown.
Seems like April just didn’t work for some reason. I’ve never had that happen.
You said up above last month that you were only at $600 and weren’t sure if you’d hit the $1000 spend for May – seems that you did end up hitting it, right?
Yep, I was above $1k in both April and May. June I should squeak by too! Thankfully natural spend seems to get me there. I guess I’m using more gas with the dumb “return to office”.
They replied:
Sears everyday spend campaign had an issue that impacted april’s fulfillment for citi thankyou mastercard and shop your way mastercard customers. Citi is working on the april corrections for customers
who qualified and have rewards missing or incorrectly posted to their account.
The awards for April 2025 spend will be applied if qualified by Issue in the future and per the alert there is no manual action needed.

That’s a great update! Glad it seems you won’t need to do anything and should have the credit applied.
How did you contact them when you got this response? Did your April credit post? I’m still waiting on mine.
I have one as well with the same verbiage. Mine usually shows up around now for the month prior.
It’s really weird with the statement credits. For me, I look down the list for it right around the time my auto payment is scheduled. Once you’ve done it a time or two, it’ll make sense. Well, not sense really but you’ll get what to look for 🙂
Looks like I didn’t receive an online purchase offer this month. Gambled wrong – didn’t take advantage last month.
Will paying through PayPal with Sears SYW credit card count as eligible online purchase?
Got 325000 pts/$1k spend. P2 got $100 statement credit/$1k spend.
got 325000 bonus points on $1000 spend.
Got 325K points for spending 1k online three consecutive months. I’ll probably reload Apple and Amazon balance.
March – Amazon and Korean online grocery store reload worked last month. Bonus posted a day after.
February – Spent over 1K combining Eversource, Connecticut Gas, Cricket wireless, and Frontier internet in January. Didn’t get the bonus. They all worked last year.
Has anyone had success with using Kroger Pay in store to count for both groceries and online spend?
Yes. But not fuel. Weird. The fuel center counts as gas but not online. In store counts for both groceries and online.
