Our Verdict
Similar Marriott offer was pulled fast. This seems like an easy deal to complete assuming you’re good at saying no.
Hat tip to Travel On Points
I entered my info but I haven’t heard anything- is there a number I can call?
I did see the 858-299-7438 number but unsure if that’s what one would call or not
I never heard from them either. Strange. Anyone else?
Me neither. Granted I only signed up like on March 1. Nothign in my spam either
They’re sold out.
Entered my info and never heard back, called the number just now and they said they’ve been sold out.
They do have an in person offer for $249 for 4 days 3 nights at the Welk Resort in San Diego and after presentation you get 2 tickets to the zoo LOL lame offer
Lots of complaints. Really? I did the Marriott presentation. Once I mentioned “the amortization of the cost” the guy let me go, thirty minutes early. They’re looking for dummies.
Not a great deal. My family visited a Hyatt resort in San Diego and I was offered 20K points if I would attend one with my wife. We didn’t want to waste our vacation time with it, but I got the impression I could have asked for higher if my wife had exhibited any interest at all.
What is the format of this? Is it a Zoom meeting with 30 other attendees? What’s keeping me from shutting off my my video camera and leaving it on in background?
I would say no. They will make out like bandits selling your personal info, even if you say no to the timeshare. So make them compensate you properly for that information. What they are offering is peanuts!
I don’t know enough about timeshares, but sometimes you can rake it in from these idiot places like casinos selling your info to one another
Those are the bonuses for a couple attending.
Halve that for an individual attending
Can I hire somebody to play the part of my wife? They might do it cheaper than my actual wife would.
I’ll wear lipstick and a wig. How much does she weigh? Do I need to become a regular at Five Guys to play the part?
Say you are divorced
You see that episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry hires a hooker to ride with him so he can drive in the car pool lane?
This is the weakest timeshare presentation offer I have ever seen.
Hilton gave us a 3 night stay for 200 dollars plus 75k points.
Marriott gave us a 4 night beach hotel for 400 dollars. Retail value 3000+.
That was in person
They don’t actually have an option for DC. They list states, and they have Mexico, but they don’t even have DC as an option when that’s one of the allowed areas.
I have to agree that 90 mins. is probably better spent doing other ‘errands’ than what Hyatt offers here (15k or $150 gc), especially having +$100k income. Reminder that it includes time and cost of getting to the location and other tolerances that a person can avoid otherwise. Dive right in if it suits you.
Walking from your bedroom to your computer? It’s a virtual presentation
It’s online
And it requires 2 people
