American Express Partners With Point.Me To Facilitate Easier Award Search

American Express announced today a partnership with the Point.Me, the points and travel reward search platform, to allow easy search reward flight options that can be redeemed and transferred with American Express Membership Rewards points. American Express Membership Rewards cardholders can sign up for the free service at this link.

POINT.ME simplifies reward travel search and booking by making it easy to search for great reward flight options using points without being a points expert. The new complimentary service will offer a suite of features to help eligible Card Members find reward flight options with Membership Rewards points at participating airlines and their alliance partners. It will allow Card Members to compare reward flight options across 150+ airlines and access step-by-step booking instructions.

Note: The free benefit from Amex only offers search functionality for the Amex transfer partners and their alliances. Bilt also has a Point.Me partnership to search awards with their transfer partners. To get full Point.Me access you’ll need to pay the daily or monthly membership fee.

I prefer awardtool, which is my favorite award search tool now! It’s much faster, and it supports multiday and multicity search. And it also support award hotel availability.

point.me is slow yet inaccurate for me at say the least. I know for a fact british airway has better award avability for a flight I am about to take. Tested on point.me, which never came up with the option. don’t waste time with it.

I had a paid subscription to point.me. It was so slow that I was doing multiple searches from multiple browsers but they shut me down for using a “script”.

Curious about how you made that work, as it seems to stop unless you keep the tab active. Annoying as F that I can’t switch to the airline’s website simultaneously…

Website is extremely slow. The results are very limited compared to when I search on my own.

I paid for point.me in the past. I left, it’s so slow, and there’s better services out there IMO.

Looks like it’s either broken or overloaded. Only comes back with Flying Blue award transfers for any routes I search

It’s either not live yet, or it’s not working. Just searched a Delta award flight I’ve been watching and this showed 0 results.
