Our Verdict
Public has offered a bonus through Swagbucks before, that was worse than this offer and also a bonus of up to $5,000 that required a much larger deposit. This is worth doing if you don’t want to wait to chaser one of those larger deposits. It’s also an interesting partnership

Has anyone gotten the $100bonus? If this promo is still going on, I wanted to sign up.
Just went on and opened an account today. As soon as you deposit funds, the $100 bonus will show up in rewards. You get to purchase some stocks worth $100.
How long does it take for the bonus to post? P1 and P2 opened accounts on 6/25 but no bonus for either of us yet.
Why is there a 90 day hold on the $100 reward? Seems a bit excessive.

The CLEAR+ offer won’t be automatically assigned if you have not completed the biometric enrollment with CLEAR (ie at an airport).
If this is you, just email me at stephen at public.com with 1) a screenshot of your CLEAR+ status and 2) the email you used to sign up for Public (which needs to be the same as the one on your CLEAR account!) — and we’ll get it sorted out for you!

sorry about that — it’s not the most obvious on web. We’re working on it (going to add a withdraw button to the left panel, right below ‘deposit’), but it’s much better in the app.
To withdraw on web, you need to go to the settings screen (https://public.com/settings, if you’re logged in), then you’ll see “withdraw funds” under “transfers”. You can also navigate to settings by clicking on your name in the top right corner.

However, I can only withdraw $1.39, not sure why?
My High-Yield has $100.15 in it.

You may have to withdraw from your HYCA back to the brokerage account first.
We’re in the process of rolling out direct withdrawals from HYCA, but that’s not widely available yet.
There seems to be a 90 day hold on $100 reward to withdraw. Also only $22 something of my $25 initial deposit is withdraw able not sure why.

When I try to withdraw funds

P2 just signed up but account doesn’t seem to have been opened – no account # is listed in online portal, cannot set trusted contacts, etc.
Interestingly, the $100 rewards shows and was able to claim it (although no shares given).
Also no emails received from public.com.
