• HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union is offering a $100 bonus when you open a new eLife checking account and complete the following requirements:
  • setup and receive at least one monthly recurring Direct Deposit or ACH Credit totaling $1,000 per month for two consecutive months
  • Enroll in Online Banking and/or Mobile Banking
  • Enroll in eStatements

The Fine Print

• Qualified members who open a new eLife Checking account with HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union between 4/1/2024 through June 30, 2024, may be eligible to receive a $100 reward when all requirements are met.
• Requirements for this promotion are as follows: 1) open a new eLife Checking account; 2) setup and receive at least one monthly recurring Direct Deposit or ACH Credit (e.g. – payroll, social security, or pension) totaling $1,000 for a minimum of two consecutive months; 3) enroll in Online Banking and/or Mobile Banking; and 4) enroll in eStatements.
• Requirements must be met within 90 days of account opening to be eligible.
• After all requirements have been met, the $100 reward will be deposited to the member’s new eLife Checking account within 60 days.
• This promotion may be discontinued at any time without prior notice.
• Limit one $100 reward per member.
• The $100 reward is subject to 1099 reporting requirements and may be reportable as taxable income.
• Accounts must be in good standing at the time of reward payment with no negative balances or loan delinquencies.
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Our Verdict

It says an ACH credit should work so should be easy to hit the direct deposit requirement. We don’t see a lot of Hawaiian bonuses so probably worth doing if you’re eligible.
