Bluegreen Vacations (Choice Timeshare) 3 Nights, 40K Points For $199

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Bluegreen Vacations (choice hotels timeshare) is offering 3 nights for $199, you also get 40,000 Choice points for free.

Our Verdict

Usually you can get a better than advertised deal by calling in. Not as good as the previous deal offered. Don’t do these types of deals unless you’re certain that you can say no and not sign up for a timeshare.

Hilton Grand Vacations completed the acquisition of Bluegreen in mid-January, so I’m surprised they’re still having these promotions with Choice. I’m leaving today for one of these promos (from the Hilton side), and we’ve gotten good value out of them on road trips.

Please don’t do this. My parents owned bluegreen and now one is deceased and the other is in poor health, I’m trying to get out of this scam. They are intense high pressure, fees are increasing uncontrollably, the resale is worthless and may cost close to 5 digits to exit, plus there is hardly any availability.

Is it really that hard for people just to say no? You just say no.

The annoying part of this (I did it last year) was the scheduling part beforehand. They only have some locations and days available… you have to work your trip around their schedule The actual 2 hours there isn’t a big deal. Ultimately it’s just not really an amazing deal unless you really want to be in that location when you consider transportation.

Be careful, you can watch videos on YouTube about people getting scammed by Bluegreen. Know what you’re getting into because the salesman are very aggressive and the presentations can last for hours.

Hey Doc,
When you call into Marriott what do you say to them? Like I am interested in your virtual presentation? Appreciate some pointers.

Thank you!

It’s not a virtual presentation:
” must attend and complete an approximately two-hour Bluegreen Vacation Club® sales presentation”
The one posted a few days ago was virtual.

The simplest way to not get ripped off by a timeshare company is never deal with timeshares….EVER!
