FYI – to get the $100 credit, you needed to have completed the $500 in spend on the travel portal in a single purchase. This is from a Chase Secure Message reply I received:
“We are unable to issue a statement credit to your account
because the $500.00 spend requirement must be met in a
single purchase.”
That is how I read it to 100% be sure that it satisfies the criteria is that it has to be on a single transaction. I never bought into that it can be used over multiple transactions.
DP: I made my bookings on 10/30 (processed as 10/31) and they were pending transactions over the weekend. The offer went into the “expired” section.
I received the email today that I triggered the offer and will receive it. I did this on three different cards (same scenario on each).
Got my $100 as well. Also had the 10K points offer on the same card but that didn’t show up. Has anyone been able to stack the two offers ?
did you use it for hotels or flights for the $10K offer? It does say you need to 8 weeks for the points to credit from when the actual travel is realized. If this was legitimate spend then you don’t have to worry but if your plan was to cancel, I wouldn’t bother with it.
Flights and they are non-refundable. Will wait and see.
Did you get the credit?
I had the $100 deal across all 5 of my card. Csp, prime visa, ink unlimited, ink cash and ink prefer. I made all purchase back on the 18th and the $100 credit show up on 22th. The prime visa took an extra day and the offer initially disappear completely after I made purchase then reappear in the redeem on the 23rd.
Also note that one of the chase travel purchase was cancel same day and I still got the $100 off credit. Let’s see if it’s claw back later or not.
So you canceled it and it was refunded on your card?

Yes. All but one were cancelled since the one are actually flights I am taking.
Oh wow, this is a good dp to know! I’m generally traveling as well, but good to know next time this offer comes around and I don’t have any travel plans in mind across my cards.
Has anyone actually received the $100 for this offer yet? I booked a hotel on Oct 5 totaling more than $500, which was immediately charged to my Sapphire Preferred. My stay isn’t until November, however. A day after booking, the offer disappeared from my Chase Offers, but reappeared a day later. But now, 13 days after charging my card, the offer is still not showing as “redeemed.”
Yes I see the offer applied in a few of my inks and csp. Just gotta wait. The 10k offer though I haven’t seen that.
Can you get a travel credit to use later by booking and canceling a flight this month, eg on southwest?
I used this on my personal card and the offer disappeared from my 2 business cards.

I saw this in my Chase Offers (merchant offers) on Chase Freedom and added it. A few days later, I noticed it was gone. Today, I noticed it’s showing up again (still added/enrolled from before).
