Our Verdict
You also earn double points until the end of the year (meaning the Visa Infinite is 6x on dining for example). Nice increased offers, don’t think the Visa Infinite is worth considering as the benefits are limited for $499 but a 60,000 point bonus becomes a lot more interesting for the $99 card. Of course there are better offers out there but for those that need some Avios and have hit the better bonuses this is worth considering. Cardless only lets you hold one Cardless card at a time so keep that in mind.
I’m seeing 40k/60k on these cards now…
Kindly share a referral link for this card if you have it ‘jaccjoli at gmail dot come’
weird bank. denied for excess obligation relative to income. My total credit line across all banks is like only <20% of income, and my outstanding balance on credit report is like < 5% of all my credit lines. I was never denied by a bank due to such reason…
Cardless is a strange little bank. Got denied for limited credit experience (I have over 40 years), no open retail accounts (been with the same bank since 1984), not enough balance paid down over time on revolving accounts (credit usage is 3%), and not enough balance paid down over time on real estate secured loans (mortgage accounts for less than 50% of house value). Oh, and credit score according to them is 832.
Have it. Sockdrawered except I do charge a token amount from time to time so they don’t deactivate me. Cardless has been pretty good, with the asterisk that the instant card didn’t actually work. Your Qatar Airways # translates as a Oneworld sapphire, which means you get Admiral’s Club Flagship (if the lounge is where you’re departing/arriving). Keep in mind it takes about a week to activate after you physically get the card, since the Qatar Airways staff have to manually change your account status.
Another advantage is that they deposit miles upon posting a transaction, rather than monthly, which is really damn good
Did you get bonus points on UberEats /DoorDash/GrubHub? The terms state delivery services don’t qualify but I’m surprised because they code up as restaurants
I had New Orleans Pelicans but I closed it some time ago and I think they discontinued the card.
I can’t get this card?
Why’d you cancel the Pelicans card for? 4x back in dining and gas on a no AF card won’t probably ever happen again.
I did like the card, and I did make decent money from that card. I just wasn’t using it for restaurant spend like I thought I would. I would go for another cardless card – if they would ever let it happen.
Nice SUB if you know how to use Oneworld alliance
The offers are available through referrals too, is there any thread to share my referral? I do own the Visa signature card
These are benefits cards, I do have the lower tier card, pretty useful. Comes with Qatar lounge passes (two), you can use in London, Doha etc. Plus Qatar Silver Status which is Oneworld Ruby, so you can extend the benefits while flying domestic AA, or Alaska. In anycase one can redeem Avios for domestic flights via Qatar or British Airways. If you have usecases, these are no doubts good cards
One unsung benefit of Qatar Gold is access to Admirals Clubs even when flying domestically with AA or Alaska… For $499 with the Qatar Visa infinite card vs $595 with the Citi / AAdvantage Executive card…
100% agree, cheapest way to get Admirals club access, but only for one year, unless you spend 200k+ on it every year.
Looks like you can use it domestically for admiral club lounges if you are an AAdvantage member. Is this different than your experience?
American Airlines AAdvantage® members, regardless of their tier status or class of travel, are not eligible for lounge access when travelling solely on North American flights within or between the U.S., Canada, Mexico (except Mexico City), the Bahamas, Bermuda and the Caribbean.
