Doesn’t Virgin have very high service fee charge?
They pass along taxes at a higher rate than most (similar to partners KLM/Air France), but there isn’t a service fee for transfering. They also have really low point costs.
For my flights, they are usually the lowest cost considering point value + cash payment. Pretty easy to get $0.013 value.
Direct Delta flights through Virgin also have low flight taxes and are 1/3 the point cost of booking direct thru Delta.
