Some people (including myself) were targeted for $25 off $125 rather than $10 off $100. Physical mailer in my case. Seems to also be true for other people who had the higher offer in those comments.
Could you please explain how you got this to work. I can’t seem to generate a discover virtual number also it says you have to use gpay.

I just do not see much value from this GC promo. You do get 5% on your Discover or Chase Amazon (on Prime account). But you turn money into plastic GCs that you need to liquidate. There are not many places that you can turn the GCs into cash. When you use those GCs to pay (like credit card), you lose out on the CC earnings that you can earn with other credit cards.
The only way you come on top is to find any places that can use those GCs as debit. If your total liquidation cost (or opportunity cost) is about 3%, then the gain is minimal. Not worth playing.
Normally I wouldn’t hit this because Chase Ink Cash + Office Depot >= 5%
However, Amex BCE + Amazon code 24AMEX15OFF = 10.5%
Can I ask how you got the 24AMEX15OFF code to work for you? No matter what I do, I get a “The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.” I know the code is active for my account, though, because the $15 discount applies if I add a non-gift card item over $15.00 to my cart. Not sure if there’s a specific order of operation I need to follow in my cart. Thanks!
I wound up using the $40 reward point offer instead (thanks
Otto ) but prior to that I had applied the 24AMEX15OFF code in the checkout screen and seen the $15 discount reflected in the total.
However, I just tried to do that again and it didn’t work. I suspect the code may have been disabled for gift cards between last Monday night and today.
I thought the value is for people who need to MS to meet signup bonus requirements?
