Has anyone been credited for a purchase at a place NOT on the list? I know there are plenty of stories below of people not paid for places that WERE on the list. I still have it on my wife’s card, forgot to swap cards after redeeming it on my card (actually did not realize I had maxed it out). Turns out the place I then used it at was not on the list, anyway. Going somewhere Sunday that SHOULD be on the list, but isn’t.
Update — I noticed that the list you get when clicking on View Merchant Website is different from what you get when clicking on Redeem Now. The latter brings up a map and the list is much more complete. Still can’t find the place we’re having an expensive brunch at on Sunday, but I did see a Chinese place we went to for lunch today which is not on the other list, and I did get an email after paying.

I’ve tried in two restaurants listed on the shopping map, one doesn’t take amex.
And didn’t receive credit for the other one, contacted amex and got the standard response, ‘Please allow 90-days after 12/31/2024 for the statement credit(s) to be posted’
I had the same issue with a restaurant on the map. First, AMEX said it wasn’t on the map. When I sent them all the info they told me to wait 90 days to see the credit. We all know we’re not seeing that credit.
Yes, yes, yes! I’m still fighting with AMEX over this. Their IT coding is FUBAR. Restaurants clearly listed on website don’t code/credit. Their digital assistance team agreed that it should have credited but said they were not allowed to credit manually and could only set up an escalation case, which of course has gone nowhere two weeks later. Those of us who remember when AMEX customer service was good mourn its passing into the realm of Citi sh!¥¥!ness. 😖
My BCP card got 10% off any amount, up to $15 total credit, P2 got $5 off $50+, up to $15 in total credits.

Does Felicia’s offer decent hunks of beef for homemade recipes?
Pretty good. They’re my #1 butcher to go to in the area. They’ll prep it the way you want it for your purpose. They’ve got some good deals on meat packs as well. People rave about their subs but way too much meat for my taste, guess that’s why people like them. They do have short hours though I’ve noticed, especially weekends.
Only kidding about Staples. I only do the OD deals anyway.
If you haven’t used it, stack with the $50 Resy Credit on your AMEX Gold. Most Resy Restaurants are probably “small” businesses.

Just got off the phone with my AmEx Platinum concierge. If you ask, they will also provide you a map of pay phones in your area so that you can check the coin slots for change that has been left behind.
Been using this for a local deli the past few weeks.
Not as good as past Shop Small offers but also not as bad as some of the more recent ones.
I remember 2020. Buy $10+ and get $5 up to 10 times. With This one being targeted I did not get this round.
