Do you have to spend $50 on one bill? The only restaurant in my area is quick service and I’d have to order 4 meals to hit $50.

Food + Tax have to equal $50. Tip never counts here. The tip plus the remaining balance can be paid via your stored credit card or “Fresh” inKind Credit if you go the Costco route.

inKind may issue “Cashback” to you under certain circumstances but this never combines with coupons like $25 off of $50.

More information than you asked for:

If you have any American Express card with a “Resy Credit”, make sure THAT credit card is enrolled under AmEx Rewards and Benefits, then store that CC into inKind. We frequently order take-out and will get a reimbursement for “Resy Credit” when our AmEx is processed through inKind.

Anyone know how long this will last? (It says it’s good for 30 days from the date you claim it, so I’d like to claim it as late as possible)

What other discounts can be stacked with this? GC discounts, anything else?

And if I get the bill split into two different checks, can P2 apply a reward as well?

does this work with the costco inkind gift card?

pablo Yes. Load the gift card into your wallet and then apply the promotion when you go to pay.

To add the gift card to your wallet, click on the top right black receipt on top of the white rectangle, click on the gift (unclaimed) item, copy the code, go back to the main screen, go to gifting (heart) on the bottom, paste in the code, and claim.

Make sure your pre-tip total is at least $50 to use the $25 promo. Tip has to be applied to another payment method, like credit card.

I will forever be fascinated to know how this company operates with all of these discounts they give.

They say they provide liquidity to restaurants by pre-purchasing the credits. To have enough money to do this I’d imagine they have VC/PE backing.

I don’t think so, they buy credits at a 50% discount

That only works if they’re getting 50% monetization out of it, which they’re def not. There’s no way there’s a strong paying inKind member base behind all this.

inkind only pays the restaurants 50% for their credit in advance. for example they give you 5k cash for 10k credit.. so although they are most likely not profitable yet, that offers some insight into their operation
