I got this offer from Venmo: You’ll earn $5 back when you spend $25+ with your mobile wallet by March 31, 2025.
I’ve learned to avoid these Venmo offers with a max number of redemptions.
On multiple occasions, I’ve received an email from Venmo promoting an offer, but despite my acting on it right away, I am later denied the credit due to the maximum number of redemptions having been reached (I only discover that after I submit an inquiry).
In many cases, that email from Venmo was the first and only communication about the promotion, so I would not have known if it had already been running for a while prior to that.
The last straw was when their email said “there’s still time” [to get the offer], but as I found out later, the offer had already been all claimed by then. Very misleading.
I got a similar offer: Using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay, get $5 back on $25 or of spend. Same EOM expiration.
Got a variation for $5 credit but doesn’t specify any spending minimum, just $5 back when you use your mobile wallet to make a purchase (eom expiration).
I got this offer with Google Pay as well
I got it but have no idea if you have to sign up somewhere or if it’s already active (or why is there a limit of redemptions)
