Our Verdict
There is another offer for 25,000 miles and a $100 statement credit that is much better unless you value Alaska miles at over 2¢, this link was originally found by doing a dummy booking. Alaska Airlines originally stated that they would increase the public offer on this card to 30,000 miles in May, although in the last earnings call this was pushed to June 1st. I’m hoping that when this happens the $100 statement credit offer will remain, but with the increased 30,000 miles.
Hat tip to 1nsane on /r/churning
Alaska canceled my future award flights and suspended my account because they lied about misuse and abuse for not paying annual fee blah blah and they wouldn’t budge I sent them a warning , a stern legal action warning letter and disputed their lies few weeks later their very senior manager apologized to me profusely band reinstated my account.
Applied for 2 this morning, 1 went through, the other still up for review.
Should I lower my CL on my existing AS CC? Prefer not to cancel before applying for two additional cards.
Hey doc which grocery stores sell vgc? The Safeway used to sell $500 vgc but now they carry max $25. I need to max out my freedom quota for this quarter. Thanks
hahaha.. right… great question…
Is 5x on mp dining only for this card or for all AS cards?
That’s just a trick statement. Any card can get up to 5mile/$ spend on MileagePlan Dining. Use cards that comes with dining bonus in the first place…
Same here. Got the 25000 miles and $100 credit already wondering if it’s possible to get me an extra 5000 miles
How many Alaska cards can one have? They keep sending me offers. Opened 2 and they have now sent me a third. Only 25K but no minimum spend.
BofA doesn’t have a hard limit
you need to be aware that Alaska just set a nuke on Emirates due to travel hackers and you want to go for your 3rd? ok man. good luck.

If they wake up on the wrong side of the bed, they may decide to confiscate all your Alaska miles for the heck of it. Oh, and they may cancel every ticket you’ve booked with those miles, too. If you’re lucky, when you ask them “What the hell?!?” and send them papers showing that everything is in order, they may, out of the goodness if their hearts, decide to reinstate your account. The tickets they canceled, the denied boarding, the nightmare they created, the vacation/business trip/family event/funeral they so royally fucked up by canceling everything on a whim due to their capriciousness? How dare you complain! Your account is now frozen once again just for that. This matter is now CLOSED!!!

Yea. Pretty much. I would caution anyone thinking applying for multiple Alaska cards.
Too bad, i just opened one a month ago.
Does BoA match offers?

Hey Prince Charles, you wrote about a targeted 50k offer before. For FYI, you can even link to that post so people know it exists. Maybe they want to wait since the language was very clear about “new” customers one time promo only. Stupid to sign up for this when you potentially get 50k.
