The Fine Print

• The Sweepstakes begins on August 1, 2016 at 12:00:00 PM (Noon) Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on September 30, 2016 at 11:59:59 PM ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”)
• For purposes of this Sweepstakes, a “day” is defined as a 24-hour period, beginning at 12:00:00 AM ET and ending at 11:59:59 PM ET except for the first day of the Sweepstakes where a day is defined as beginning at 12:00:00 PM (Noon) ET and ending at 11:59:59 PM ET
• Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, Guam, and United States based military installations who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and a United MileagePlus member at the time of entry (“Eligible Participant” and/or “Entrant”)

Our Verdict

Keep in mind that you need to pay taxes on the prices, the approximate retail value (ARV) is listed above. You can dispute the value of the miles, United is valuing them at 2¢ per point. Personally I might enter a few times via the website if it isn’t too hard to complete an entry. For those that want to improve the number of entries you get, you might find this page to be helpful.
