• Space Coast Credit Union is offering a $150 bonus when you open a new free business checking account and complete the following requirements:
  • Mention the promo code BIZCHECKING
  • Open account with an initial deposit of $500
  • Complete 30 transactions within 30 days of account opening
• To qualify for $300, in addition to the requirements mentioned above, must deposit and maintain a minimum daily balance of $10,000 for the first 90 days from account opening date

The Fine Print

• 150 Offer: Promo code APRBIZ must be mentioned at the time of account opening.
• Offer applies to new checking account type of Free Business Checking with $500 opening deposit between April 1, 2017 through close of business on April 30, 2017.
• Limit one per business.
• Offer may be withdrawn at any time.
• To qualify for the $150 promotion, member must make an initial deposit of $500 and complete ten transactions within 30 days of account opening.
• Allow 60 days from final transaction to receive the incentive funds, which will be directly deposited into the Free Business Checking account. Funds may not be used for initial account deposit.
• May not be combined with any other offer. Offer does not apply to current SCCU business checking members. Certain restrictions apply. SCCU employees do not qualify.
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

This account has no monthly fees, I also saw no mention of any early account termination fee in the fee schedule.

Our Verdict

Not a bad deal if it turns out to be a soft pull as it’s easy to meet the bonus requirements and there is no monthly fee to worry about at all. If anybody goes for this bonus, please let us know in the comments below. For now it won’t be added to the best checking bonus page.
