How To Get $50 In Uber Credit & Dr Pepper For Almost Free

Currently there are two deals worth combining.

In total you’d need to purchase 20 20oz bottles to get $50 in Uber credit, you want to do them in individual transactions to get 125 Swagbucks per transaction. That would give you 2,500 Swagbucks (worth $25), you’d also have 40 dgdrpepper points (enough for some free junk).

Not exactly sure how much the 20oz bottles cost after tax, but I imagine you won’t be paying much after the Swagbucks back.

If you’re new to Swagbucks, please read our review. You can also get a bonus of up to $5 by using a referral link.

In case someone is having trouble finding the 20oz Dr Pepper bottles, I was able to find the particular Dr Pepper bottles at CVS store.

After you get a bunch of codes, can you just apply like 10+ at once to an uber account? Wondering if anyone has tried this or if most people are just holding on to the codes and applying them before each use.

I have 10+ codes that I’ve saved up. I usually only Uber when I’m on a trip so haven’t used any in a while. But I do use them for Eats– basically pays for shipping.

Totally missed the pos from February. Can the codes be used all at one, like on a $50 ride or do they need to be broken up into $5 per ride discounts? Thanks.

I have the same question as Mike — are the Uber $5 codes good for only one code per ride, or could you use 10 of them for $50 off a ride?

Also, anyone know when the Uber codes expire?

It’s limited to $5 discount per ride. Best maximized by applying the credit to cheap rides, which is what I have been doing.

Do these codes work for Uber eats?

Yes, my codes worked with Uber Eats as well. They don’t work with Uber Flat Fare / Rider Pass.

Has anyone tried to scale this beyond 10 codes? I.e., use 2 phone numbers to generate 20 codes and apply all to the same UBER account.

My wife and I generated 20 codes b/w our 2 numbers and applied most of them to one Uber account.

Thanks for the data point!

Might be worth setting up a spare phone on something like Tello for a month to generate more codes

I did this with my family’s phone numbers and all on my uber account. Tried with my girlfriend’s number and her network, not Tello, not any of the majors, wasn’t allowed. So, not sure if Tello would work.

Interesting.

Wondering if anyone has gotten it to work with FreedomPop? You have to use their proprietary texting app, which doesn’t normally support MMS but I think you can upgrade for a month.

You can also submit the same bottles for the Uber credit multiple times since the UPCs are all the same. So you really only need to buy 2 Dr Pepper bottles if you don’t want to bother with buying the extra 18.

Morally grey area, but *technically* you don’t even need to buy them, you can just pick up two bottles in a store, take a bunch of pictures, and put them back.

How is it a grey area? If you do this you are lying and stealing.

Just read the full terms linked above. You’re correct, the bottles must be purchased to meet the requirements.
