I’m not sure why there’s a $5.95 shipping charge when the fine print on Swagbucks says there won’t be.

This offer does have a 14-day pending period, but the good thing is that it’s showing up instantly as pending (for me and many other). Swagbucks are worth a minimum of 1¢ each making this a $13.43 moneymaker. There might be sales tax in your area which brings down the profit to around $12.
A couple things to keep in mind:
- Remember to cancel before the second charge in November if you don’t want the service to continue. It’s easy to cancel your subscription in My Account > Account Settings > scroll down. I’m not sure if you can cancel before the first shipment goes out or not.
- Bear in mind that some people end up having problems either with the portal tracking or with Swagbucks deactivating their account for reasons which aren’t clear, so keep the risks in mind. In this case, it might be possible to just cancel the order quickly if the Swagbucks don’t post.

Anyone canceled?
FYI ordered yest. it’s still processing. but was able to cancel my recurring subscription for future orders via my acct settings as mentioned in the DoC post. so its possible to do that even w/o your 1st order shipping. now next months shipment in mid Nov no longer shows as upcoming etc.

Where do I enter the promo code? Is it at the payment step? Or is it after I enter my CC information?
On the right-hand side of the last page, above the totals (charge, shipping, tax etc.). You can do it before or after entering the credit card information.
Is the last page Review page? If that’s the case, it’s after I enter my CC information, right?
Yes, it’s the Review page. You can do it after entering the credit card info. Just look for a promo code line on the right-hand side, towards the middle, above the detailed charges.
The checkout page freezes constantly under IE. After changing to another web browser, everything works fine. 3500 SB went pending immediately. Thanks for the post.

Thanks DoC, this one worked as detailed. SB tracked and pending till 10/31, received an email as well for pending SBs.
I was wondering about the shipping myself and it looks like I figured it out. If you take the 40% discount ($14.38 off a $35.95 bundle) and add it to the $5.95 shipping, that should equal the discount taken off, in this case $20.33. It looks like tax is applied on the shipping prior to the discount.
One thing to note is that you have some flexibility with what you put into the Essentials Bundle. I deleted the shampoo, lotion etc. and just added five two-packs of hand soap. The deal still tracked, and 3500SB showed up as pending in my account within 60 seconds.

easy enough, ordered the Essentials Bundle & SB already show pending. love that these deals lately show up as atleast pending so we know SB tracked it. rather than before where if there was a wait time/period you wouldn’t even know until it showed up by the deadline. or if you were keeping track & it didn’t – then you’d have to go chase down CSRs.
anyways, got hit w/tax but still a bit over $11 profit when the SBs clear
