Groupon: Buy Newegg Gift Cards & Get 10% Bonus Promo Card

We accidently posted this twice, I’ve turned comments off on this post. If you want to discuss please go here instead.

The Offer

Direct Link (contains our affiliate link, remember to use a shopping portal)

Groupon is offering the choice of three Newegg gift card deals:

  • Buy $200 Newegg gift card and get a $20 Newegg promo card
  • Buy $100 Newegg gift card and get a $10 Newegg promo card
  • Buy $50 Newegg gift card and get a $5 Newegg promo card

The Fine Print

  • You can do this deal twice
  • You can only use up one promo card per Newegg visit (reader says you can use more)
  • Promotional value expires 90 days after purchase. Amount paid never expires.

Our Verdict

The deal itself is so-so; a big advantage of a Groupon deal is that you can go through Giving Assistant for 7% back or another shopping portal. You might also have Groupon gift cards purchased at a discount to use up.

Living Social is also offering the same deal and they have portal options too. You can probably do the deal twice on Groupon and another two times on Living Social.

If I remember correctly, Newegg no longer allows using gift cards to buy gift cards, so only buy this for ordinary use. Also remember that you can only use one promo card per checkout.

They are on a bunch of sites. I’m pretty sure you earn 5x Chase UR points at giftcardmart too! Just know that they are probably the strictest in fraud controls so you’ll have to complete their verification before they deliver any card for any dollar amount. But after you do it, it has always been automatic for me

Where are you getting that only one promo code can be used at once? I applied 4 to an order.

Ahhh I read that to mean you could only purchase 1 per Groupon visit for some reason. Either way, Newegg did allow me to apply 4 of the $20 promo codes (not the actual gift cards) to a single order.
