Our Verdict
This deal has been offered before. Some people have no problem getting it applied, others need a manager over ride. You should have more success if you use your PetPerks account, if you do that you will only be able to use it once (even over multiple transactions). If you don’t have a pet, but have a PetSmart near by why not call a local shelter and ask if they are in need of anything and then donate those items (or do the same for a friend or family member). It’s always nice to use this hobby to help those less fortunate than yourself and that includes our animal friends as well.
Last time it was offered, Petco also accepted it. Might be a way to double up easily.
Still working, mine has an expiration date of 6/7
Just printed this coupon with the link provided and it had expiration date of 06/06/18. Maybe they extended the promotion?
The date changes to two weeks out depending on the date you click on the link.
I’ve visited all 7 PetSmarts in my area, some twice and some 3 times over the last 3 days and have had mixed results. Most took the coupon with an override no questions asked but some knew that a PetPerks account is required, so for those I had a number linked to a dummy account ready to go. So far I’ve gotten more than $110 worth of wet cat food (my biggest pet expense) for only $9.90 by combining a buy 12 get 2 free deal!
Nice! Can you please share more details or a link to the wet cat food deal?
my wife and I, we just tried. It works. I bought $11 dog shampoo and paid abouy$2.07 and my wife bought a puppy shampoo and paid about $2 too. Stuff seemed surprised when she saw coupon works. Thanks DOC 🙂
Did the bar code scan or did they push it through manually?
I tried to use this coupon at petsmart a few weeks ago and they said it was fake.
Worked for me today
Direct Link to Offer goes to a coupon that says “Valid through 05/28/2018”
I see 5/29?
That’s odd, I tried on three different browsers and I show a coupon with 5/28/2018 every time. The barcode number is the same though.
Mine says 6/1. They must be updating it depending on when you click on it?
Used today (once only) with PetPerks. The cashier gave it a puzzled look, but didn’t challenge and it went through fine.
“Fraudulent coupon” – This was the gist of the argument I got when trying to use this coupon. I didn’t have enough time, but I wanted to ask a manager if they would provide me the $10 as a courtesy credit. I was completely willing to sign up for the loyalty program. I guess I will just Amazon prime the item I was going to get since I really want it for my dog now. Weird business model.
It comes from petsmart website, nothing fraudulent about it. Had it happen once and after showing them the direct link, they went mute pretty quick.
Its best to have petperks with you, in case you run into issues.
She was adamant it had to sent directly to email. I told her the terms said nothing about being targeted. I’m sure she was trained that by the manager so I wouldn’t expect them to give a different story. Odd way of doing things.
It’s meant to be a targeted email, although clearly badly executed. You need to have an account to look like you are even a potentially legitimate customer.
So last time this was offered my wife accidentally took it to Petco and they honored it (apparently they honor competitor coupons), obviously YMMV but could help out those that don’t have a PetSmart near by.
