American Express replaced the OPEN Savings Program with Do More Business yesterday. As part of the launch of Do More Business (basically American Express offers for business cards) they launched a number of great offers:
- [Business Cards] AmEx Offer: 25% Back At FedEx, $1,000 Limit
- [Business Cards] AmEx Offer: 10% Back At Exxon Mobil, $100 Limit
- [Business Cards] AmEx Offer: 10% Back At Lowe’s, $100 Limit
- [Business Cards] AmEx Offer: 10% Back At Staples, $100 Limit
Some readers couldn’t get these offers to show (especially the FedEx offer). Reader Jay shared the following link: https://americanexpress.com/domorebusiness that should work to get the offers to show up (although some might have hit enrollment caps now).
Do More Business link seems not to work. Seems to just pull up whatever existing offers you have. Anyone have different experience?
Added Staples offer to personal Premier Rewards Gold on Sunday afternoon, but they actually removed it from my “Added to Card” section Monday, which I didn’t notice until after using the offer at Staples. Did this happen to anyone else? They only removed it from primary card, not my authorized users or other personal primary cards (Blue Cash Preferred, Delta Platinum).
Same. I was able to add Dell and Staples to all my personal cards a couple of days ago. I just placed a Staples order with my PRG personal card and when I checked, the Staples and Dell offers are now missing.
Staples is still on my personal card, and was going to attempt using it today, but it is starting to appear to not be worth the risk. I will stick with the business cards, as I have it on 6 of them.
can you still add offer thru link?
I wouldn’t be able to add it as it is already added to my card, so I don’t know the answer.
Data point: My purchases from 6/04 on the PRG personal card received the $100 credit on 6/06, which appeared today (6/07/2018). I received the credit for the main cardholder even though the offer had disappeared from the card prior to using the card, and I received a $100 credit for an authorized user purchase as well.
Thank you for your data point, it is very helpful.
Thanks for posting this info. Saved me a bunch of cash.
Got the Staples and Fedex on 12/12 cards (3 biz, 9 personal). Thanks DOC
I’m not able to add the offers to my primary personal accounts but they do show on my AU for personal cards
It looks like perhaps the credits won’t post until November? According to the fine print, at least.
That’s the standard Amex Offer terms language but they usually credit within a few days after charge is fully posted (sometimes up to a week if slow)
Added Staples/Lowes/Exxon/Dell on SimplyCash yesterday early morning from the regular offers page — no Fedex
Used the “domorebusiness” link above just now — was able to add Staples/Dell to personal PRG/ED/BCE
I got Staples/Lowes/Dell on my Biz Gold delta, Blue Biz, Biz Green, and Biz Gold. That’s also all my Biz cards.
A friend got fedex as well, on SPG Biz.
Neither got Exxon. Seems the more rare. I’ve never bought gas on any Amex card in the past year or so, fwiw, as far as figuring out targeting.
I got Exxon on several cards, and have never used Amex to buy gas
I got Staples and Dell on one card and FedEx on another
It’s glitchy when accessing this for me. I have an Everyday and a SPG Biz. For some reason “Do More Business” offers tab was shown under my Everyday, and I accidentally clicked Add to Card because I thought I was on my SPG Biz account.
If I switch over to my SPG Biz, the “Do More Business” tab disappears. So it looks like the Staples offer I added is somehow attached to the Everyday, not going to risk trying it since it’s not a business card.
After chatting with Amex Online Chat, they told me even though the offer shouldn’t have showed up in a personal account, since it is attached, the offer will trigger and I will get the 10% statement credit. Still mad I attached it to the Everyday though, since I could have put it on the BBP for double MR…
